The Allen-Bradley 2711P-B10C6D1 is an industrial component that establishes connection to process controllers and automation devices to provide process visualization and control through the integrated wide variety of communication ports supported.
This Human Machine Interface (HMI) that belongs to the PanelView Plus 1000 features support for proprietary protocols such as Data Highway Plus (DH+), Remote I/O (RIO), DH485, RS232 and Ethernet. For legacy devices, DH+, RIO and DH485 may be used especially with Allen-Bradley Programmable Controllers (PLC) such as PLC5 and SLC500. For more modern devices, CompactLogix and ControlLogix, ethernet may easily be utilized. RS232 communication may be used for point-to-point communication. It also has a USB communication port for attachment of external peripherals such as a printer, mouse of a printer.
This HMI product was announced discontinued on 12/31/2012 with an appropriate replacement of PanelView Plus 6 with part number 2711P-B10C4D8 plus 2711P-RN6.
This HMI features a 10.4-inch colored graphic display, Keypad and Touch input capable of up to 1 million actuations, internal memory of 32 MB Flash Memory and 64 MB Random Access Memory. It is powered by a DC supply range of 18 to 30V dc with nominal value of 24VDC.
This HMI measures 248 x 399 x 55 mm (9.77 x 15.72 x 2.18 in) and weighs 2.6 kg (5.7 lb). Install this HMI hardware flush mounted to an enclosure with ratings IP54, IP65, NEMA Type 12/13 enclosure for outdoor and 4X for indoor use. Maintain operating temperature of 0 to 55 °C (32 to 131 °F). Install an appropriate heater or cooling component and provide clearance to promote adequate air flow. When selecting a cooling or heating component, consider the operator panels heat dissipation of 240 BTU/h.
