The Allen-Bradley 2711P-B6C20D is a compact, scalable and cost-effective Human Machine Interface (HMI) from Allen-Bradley belonging to the PanelView Plus product family. This HMI device is designed to withstand and operate in industrial application where it is required to operate for 24/7.

It carries certifications such as c-UL-us, CE (EMC), CE (LVD), C-Tick and Marine and approved for use in Class I, Div 2, Group A, B, C, D, Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC (2), Class II, Div 2 Groups F, G and Class III Hazardous Locations.

To ensure maximum operation, install this HMI device to a NEMA / UL / IP rated panel specifically NEMA Type 12, 13, 4X (Indoor use only), IP54, IP65 rated enclosures. Custom designed application is executed by the operator terminal developed with RSView Machine Edition Studio. This software is the common development software for all PanelView Plus terminals.
When the application is downloaded, it is executed by the RSView Machine Edition runtime that is hosted by the operator terminal.

The terminal has a 5.5-inch Color active TFT screen, Keypad input area, Ethernet, RS232 and dual USB interface.

The operator terminal has a 5.5-inch process visualization screen with a display area of 112 x 84 mm (4.4 x 3.3 in.) and resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. It has a combination input area that is key operated or touch operated to initiate functions. The keys are made of F1 to F10 assignable function keys, Numeric input keys from 0-9, Backspace, Enter, Left and Right Tab keys and Shift keys. The touch screen is an analog resistive touchscreen that allows direct interaction between objects displayed on the screen. Both keypad and touchscreen are designed for finger gloved operation.

The Ethernet communication port is ideal for use as the primary connection method as it can cover a longer distance and suitable for multi-peer connection. The RS232 communication port is compatible for connection with DF1 or DH48, ideally for short distance. The USB port may be used to connect to external keyboard or mouse to provide an additional input interface.
