The Allen-Bradley 2711P-B6M20A is a PanelView Plus Operator terminal that has a 5.5-inch Monochrome screen, Keypad and Touch input area, Ethernet, RS232 and dual USB interface.

Before installation, check if the unit is shipped with the components such as Power terminal block, Pre-loaded FactoryTalk View ME runtime software, Eight, (8) Mounting levers, Installation instructions and Panel cutout template.

It is capable for 24/7 operation as the unit is certified by c-UL-us, CE (EMC), CE (LVD), C-Tick and Marine and approved for use in Class I, Div 2, Group A, B, C, D, Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC (2), Class II, Div 2 Groups F, G and Class III Hazardous Locations.

This operator terminal support firmware and software upgrades. It has a preloaded FactoryTalk View Machine Edition runtime and configuration software. These pre-loaded software packages do not require activation. Terminal applications are created using FactoryTalk View Studio software

It has 5.5-inch process visualization screen with a display area of 112 x 84 mm (4.4 x 3.3 in.) and resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Initiate commands to trigger functions and animation links with the dual input interface fitted with the terminal, Keypad and Touchscreen interfaces. The keypad has Ten (10) of F1 to F10 assignable function keys, Numeric input keys from 0-9, Backspace, Enter, Left and Right Tab keys and Shift keys. The touch screen is an analog resistive touchscreen that allows direct interaction between objects displayed on the screen. Both keypad and touchscreen are designed for finger gloved operation.

The Ethernet communication port is ideal for use as the primary connection method as it can cover a longer distance and suitable for multi-peer connection. The RS232 communication port is compatible for connection with DF1 or DH485, ideally for short distance. The USB port may be used to connect to external keyboard or mouse to provide an additional input interface.

This HMI terminal is AC powered with rated supply range is 100-240VAC with frequency of 47 to 63 Hz. It has an internal memory of 256 MB Random Access Memory (RAM) and 512 MB non-volatile memory with a free user memory of approximately 73MB.
