 Product Overview

The 2711P-B6M5D8 PanelView Plus 6 terminal is an automation component that functions as a Human Machine Interface (HMI) device. This HMI hardware belongs to the subset category of PanelView 600 terminal.

This HMI hardware completes automation of factory floor by converting controller logic into process visualization and user interface. This HMI terminal is compatible for use in applications that require simple graphic displays and diagnostics.

The PanelView Plus 6 terminals are especially made compatible with Allen-Bradley controllers. Specifically, for CompactLogix controllers however, other PLC and PAC series is supported. PLC5, SLC500, MicroLogix and ControLogix may be easily integrated with this HMI. It also supports connection to 3rd party devices with the use of converter or gateways or through KepServer Enterprise embedded with the terminal.

This operator terminal offers a scalable solution and supports add-on components such as communication modules, CompactFlash modules, Legend kits, Anti-glare overlays, adapter plates, Communication cables, Communication adapters and Firmware upgrade kit.

Each PanelView Plus 6 terminal is included with One (1) license that can be used with a single client connection. This terminal supports FactoryTalk ViewPoint software, an add on tool to the FactoryTalk View Machine Edition Studio software. FactoryTalk ViewPoint software allows terminal users to connect and view real-time plant floor operation through a web browser. It may also be used to view non-active displays in the terminal.

This terminal has an integrated RS232 and USB communication port, monochrome graphic display and combination input keypad and touch operator input area. It is powered by a power supply of 100 to 240 VAC.VIIIVThe 2711P-B6M5D8 is a PanelView Plus 6 Terminal from Allen-Bradley.
