 Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-K12C4D2 is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) that belong to the PanelView Plus product catalog used for implementing process visualization and control interface in the machine level area of a plant.

This HMI has integral configuration modes and runtime environment that does not require activation. The configuration mode menu allows access to the terminal setting such as display properties, communication and network parameters, file management and other parameters. It also has an FatoryTalk View Machine Edition Runtime environment that is responsible for executing the application that is downloaded to the HMI terminal.

The HMI terminal’s application is developed using FactoryTalk Talk Vew Studio for Machine Edition. This is a separately purchased software that requires an activation. It is the common development software for all the PanelView Plus terminals.

The terminal has a base weight of 3.4 kg (7.6 lb) and dimension of 282 x 416 x 55 mm (11.12 x 16.36 x 2.18 in). When installing to an enclosure, the cutout measurement must be 257 (10.11) for Height x 390 (15.35) for Width. Maintain a clearance of 51 mm (2 in) for Top, 51 mm (2 in) for Bottom and 25 mm (1 in) for each side. These clearances allow adequate air flow and provide working space for troubleshooting, wiring and insertion of add-on components.

This operator terminal has an analog resistive touchscreen input area, 12.1-inch colored graphic display screen, Ethernet, DH485, RS232 and dual USB port, 128MB Flash Memory and 128 MB RAM powered by an input voltage supply of 24VDC.
