The Allen-Bradley 2711P-K15C4A7 is a PanelView Plus 1500 operator terminal. It is used for integrating data coming from controllers and manipulating user logic to initiate process control and manipulation. It provides a graphic display representing the machine or process and a control interface designed as faceplates or interactive objects to initiate control.

This operator terminal has a visualization screen that supports implementation of colored graphics. The screen has a resolution of 1024 x 768 and display area of 304 x 228 mm (11.98 x 8.98). The embedded keypad assembly features F1 to F20, K1 to K20; 0…9, Backspace, Enter, Left and Right Tab, keys, Shift keys and Home keys.

Process graphics with bitmap images is highly supported. Data Logging tends to increase file size as more data is saved as it resides in the Flash Memory. Bitmap images occupy the Flash Memory and utilizes the RAM. Terminals with lower RAM allocation may slow down when switching screens. Alternatively, these memory areas are expandable with the use of a CompactFlash card and Random- Access Memory cards.

This terminal has dual USB port that may be used to attach external peripherals such as mouse and keyboard. It also has an integrated Ethernet and RS232 communication port.
