 Product Overview

The 2711P-K4M20A8 PanelView Plus 400 Monochrome terminal made by Allen-Bradley for the PanelView Plus 6 Human Machine Interface (HMI) products.

This HMI hardware has a dimension of 152 x 185 x 90 mm (6.0 x 7.28 x 3.54 in.). The operator terminal require panel mounting to a NEMA rated, UL rated or IP rated enclosure. This ensures that the operator receives adequate environmental and mechanical protection. Maintain mounting clearances of 51 mm (top), 102 mm (bottom), 25mm (side) and 0 mm (back).

The 2711P- K4M20A8 is energized by an AC power supply with a rated range of 100 to 240 VAC and frequency of 50 to 60 Hz. It features an integrated Windows Compact Embedded (C.E.) operating system which enables a user-friendly terminal management environment.

Process interaction is accomplished through the keypad interface that is capable of up to 1 million actuations. When operating the keypad, maintain an actuating force of 340g and use only 1 fingle or gloved finger. Never press multiple keys at the same time as this may render the terminal to an unpredictable operation.

The operator terminal has a process screen made of a Grayscale TFT LCD with size of 3.5 inches, display area 70 x 53 mm (2.8 x 2.3 in.) and VGA resolution of 320 x 240 pixels in 16 levels of gray.

The operator terminal provides connection flexibility as it is integrated with Ethernet, RS232 and USB ports. RS232 may serve traditional protocol such as DF1 and point to point DH485 while Ethernet may be used to allow the terminal to connect horizontally or vertically following the automation pyramid format. The USB ports may be used to connect external peripherals to extend the interaction methods of the panel. VIIIVThe 2711P-K4M20A8 is an AC powered PanelView Plus 6 Terminal from Allen-Bradley.
