 Product Overview

The 2711P-K6C5A8 Human Machine Interface (HMI) features an integrated RS232 and dual USB communication port. This HMI hardware is typically deployed in the factory floor for communicating and integrating automation controllers and devices and allow centralization of control.

This HMI hardware belongs to the PanelView Plus 6 Operator Terminal. This hardware has an embedded operating system of Windows CE software and Runtime environment of FactoryTalk View Machine Edition runtime.

Through the Machine edition runtime, the custom application created with FactoryTalk View Machine Studio is executed providing real-time process visualization and control interface. This operator terminal has an internal system memory of 256 MB Random Access Memory (RAM) and 512 MB non-volatile memory with a free user memory of approximately 73MB. It is powered by a supply of 100 to 240V AC with input frequency of 50 to 60 Hz.

The process visualization screen features a 5.7-inch colored screen with resolution of 320 x 240, 16-levels gray and display area of 115 x 86 mm (4.5 x 3.4 in.). The screen has a manual calibration feature and adjustable brightness. Operator inputs are created through the embedded keypad input made of Ten (10) function keys and navigation buttons. It has an operating lifespan of 1 million presses.
