The PanelView Plus 6 operator terminal with part number 2711P-K6M5A8 is a monochrome operator terminal that features a compact and scalable hardware while providing high performance Human Machine Interface (HMI) device through the high memory capacity, communication ports, USB ports, Hot swappable card slots and embedded Windows CE operating system.

This hardware has an internal memory of 256 MB RAM and 512 MB nonvolatile memory with a free memory of approximately 73 MB. This memory can be expanded with the use of Secure Digital Cards 1784-SD1 or 1784-SD2 that may be used for transferring files, firmware upgrade and data logging.

This terminal also has an embedded RS232 communication port to support DF1 or DH485 protocol. Optional interface modules may be added to enhance the communication capability of this terminal. It also has a dual USB port which support insertion of keyboard and mouse for additional input method.

It has an embedded Windows CE software that supports File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Remote desktop connection, PDF viewer for viewing manuals, media player among others.

Install this terminal in an enclosure that is NEMA / UL / IP rated panel specifically NEMA Type 12, 13, 4X (Indoor use only), IP54, IP65 enclosures. Create a cut-out with dimensions 142 (5.61) for top and 241 (9.50) for width. Maintain clearances of 51 mm (2 in.) for Top, 102 mm (4 in.) for bottom, 25 mm (1 in.) for side for adequate working space and air flow.

This hardware is operated by through a keypad input area made of Ten (10) function keys and navigation buttons. It has an operating lifespan of 1 million presses. The process visualization screen features a 5.7-inch screen with resolution of 320 x 240, 16-levels gray and display area of 115 x 86 mm (4.5 x 3.4 in.). The screen has a manual calibration feature and adjustable brightness.
