 Product Overview

The 2711P-K6M5D is a PanelView Plus Operator terminal that provides a cost-effective, scalable solution to Human Machine Interface (HMI) requirement. This HMI device is powered by a DC power supply with rated supply range of 18 to 32 VDC. The unit’s maximum power consumption is 25 Watts maximum (1.0 A at 24V dc).

This industrial device supports installation to a NEMA Type 12, 13, 4X (Indoor use only), IP54, IP65 rated enclosures. It is certified c-UL-us, CE (EMC), CE (LVD), C-Tick and Marine and applicable for use in Class I, Div 2, Group A, B, C, D, Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC (2), Class II, Div 2 Groups F, G and Class III Hazardous Locations.

It has a 5.5-inch a monochrome screen that serves as the process visualization component. It is fitted with a backlight with an operation lifetime of 50,000 hours. This backlight is replaceable however, practice caution as the backlight contains mercury. Observe proper disposal when replacing the backlight component.

It has a display area of 112 x 84 mm (4.4 x 3.3 in.) and resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. This display area may be installed with anti-glare overlays to improve visibility especially to overly lighted locations.
It has embedded keypad that is made of function keys, navigation and numeric input buttons, capable of up to 1 million actuations.

This terminal communicates to process or machine through the RS232 for point-to-point interface. Additionally, the USB ports may be used to connect printers, scanners, barcode readers, mouse, keyboard and USB drives.VIIIVThe 2711P-K6M5D is a PanelView Plus Terminal from Allen-Bradley.
