 Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-K7C4B1 is a PanelView Plus 700 Operator terminal. This electronic hardware is manufactured by Rockwell Automation that is used for the implementation of Human Machine Interface (HMI) solution in different process areas.

This device is built with a 6.5-inch Color active TFT Matrix screen, Keypad operator input, Ethernet, RS232 and DH485 communication port and 32MB / 64 MB integrated Flash memory / Random Access Memory.

The screen has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and display area of 132 x 99 mm (5.20 x 3.90 in). It is operated through the built-in Keypad input area that consists of F1 through F10, K1 through K12, numeric input, navigation and cursor control keys. It is recommended to operate the input area with a gloved finger to maximize each of the button’s lifespan. Alternatively, plastic stylus or pointer with radius of 1.3 mm may also be used to avoid contaminants such as oil, water, dust, paint or chemicals.

The integrated Ethernet port is ideal for a user-friendly and scalable communication data highway. Most industries utilize ethernet protocol in the enterprise network. This port enables direct communication from the machine level to the enterprise without converting the protocol. It supports 10/100Mbps transmission speed with auto-negotiation. The integrated DH485 is ideal for legacy hardware devices while the RS232 is ideal for short distance communication typically a controller and HMI on the same panel.

This HMI device has a built-in Flash Memory of 32MB and 64MB Random Access Memory. Power input for this module is 100 to 240VAC.
