 Product Overview

The 2711P-RDK10C is a PanelView accessory module compatible for use with Key operated, Colored screen PanelView Plus 1000 Terminals.

This component is a display module with 10.4-inch colored screen. This feature of this display module is intended for the visualization of PanelView Plus 1000 terminal that functions as a Human Machine Interface (HMI). This display module also has the analog resistive touchscreen that is used as the operator terminal’s input interface. This touch screen interface enables interaction to the process to control, navigate, modify process parameters and other functionalities.

A typical PanelView catalog number is already fitted with a display module. This operator terminals is a modular device that allows replacement or enhancement of its base configuration. If this component is used as a replacement product, it should be exposed to an operating temperature of 0…55 °C (32…131 °F) and relative Humidity of 5…95% without condensation. If intended as a back-up component or spare part, store this component to an environment with a temperature range of -25…70 °C (-13 to 158 °F).

Common problems that lead to replacement of a display module is due to low visibility due to a dimmed display, improper actuation, unresponsive touch interface among others. There are some steps that may be done to check whether the display module is defective. Some of this are checking if the contrasts and brightness are properly set, not too high and not too low are adjusted accordingly with reference to room lighting. For touchscreen problems, the screen may be calibrated with simple on-screen calibration method. These are found in the configuration mode menu > settings > display menu.
