Product Overview
The 2711P-RP9A is a logic module that is designed as an accessory to the PanelView Plus 6 Operator Terminal. This module features an integral memory of 512 MB Flash and Random-Access Memory (RAM).
Flash Memory is a memory area that is responsible for storing or saving files such as data logs, reports recipes, alarm logs, application files and backups. Files in the flash memory are not deleted by the system unless intentionally done so by the user. The Random-Access Memory is a memory area utilized during the runtime environment. This memory area does not save files instead, save a copy to the memory cache which to allow faster operation. This cache is cleared cyclically or when triggered through the configuration menu.
The 2711P-RP9A Logic module is Marine Certified and approved for operation in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D, Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC, Class II, Division 2, Groups F, G, Class III and ordinary, nonhazardous locations.
This logic module has One (1) Ethernet Communication port, One (1) Serial port using a 9-Pin D Sub connector and Two (2) USB 2.0 peripheral port that supports hot-swap feature. These USB port may be used to attach an external storage such as a USB drive.
Two (2) diagnostic LEDs are installed at the back of the device to provide communication (COMM) and Hardware status. It also has Reset button to return the operator terminal to factory default settings. The modules voltage requirement is 100-240VAC with input frequency of 50/60Hz.
