 Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley visualization component having a part number 2711P-T10C15D2 features multiple embedded communication ports such as ControlNet, Ethernet, RS232 and USB communication, including 10.4-inch colored visualization screen. This HMI is operated via a touchscreen interface and powered by a DC voltage range of 18 to 30VDC.

The visualization components is a PanelView Plus operator Terminals which specifically falls under PanelView Plus 1000 operator terminal. This industrial electronic device is widely accepted in many industries.

This operator terminal is designed for installation using a NEMA Type 12, 13, 4X (Indoor use only), IP54 and IP65 rated enclosures. These are minimum requirement only, panels that offer higher degree of protection may be used. This product is flush mounted to the panel that is, an opening must be created at the panel door. The cutout specification id supplied with hardware which can also be checked in its user manual. Spacing requirements are important to follow to ensure adequate air flow as this device has thermal dissipation of 240 BTU/hr. Required operating temperature for this HMI device is at 0 to 55 °C.

This hardware has an analog resistive layer which enables the touch input mechanism. Operate this device with proper protection from elements in the field. The touch interface is designed for 1 million presses.

The integrated memory of the HMI hardware which is 128 MB Flash Memory and Random Access Memory, functions individually with one serving as file and data storage while the other one as runtime memory.
