 Product Overview

The 2711P-T10C4B2 is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) device that belongs to the PanelView Plus operator terminal product line. It is manufactured by Allen-Bradley to provide monitoring and control of process or machine. This HMI terminal increases the operability of most process.

This PanelView Plus product line support a common development software in FactoryTalk View Studio for Machine Edition. This software allows project development in offline mode thus maximizing engineering time. It also provides a test function which contributes in lessening the commissioning period as this function allows simulation of commands and animations. Project is downloaded to the operator terminal and executed in the terminal’s Machine Edition runtime environment.

This operator terminal has an integrated Ethernet, DH485 and RS232 communication port. These are compatible with Allen-Bradley controllers as well as 3rd part devices. DH485 and Ethernet are both designed for multi-partner, high-speed and long distance communication cabling while RS232 is a proven interface that is typically used in point to point communication over a short distance data exchange. Dual USB ports is also included with the terminal for attaching optional peripherals that may also serve as a way to operate the operator terminal. This may be a mouse, keyboard or a printer.

This HMI device has a 10.4 -inch screen with resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The touchscreen component is an analog resistive device that is capable of up to 1 million actuation. Operate this input interface with a glove finger or stylus with actuating force of 10 to 110 g.
