 Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T10C4D2 is a PanelView Plus operator terminal that is used to provide real-time monitoring and control interface between operator and machine or processes. This HMI device features a colored graphic screen, 10.4-inch diagonal measurement, Touch operator input interface, integrated Ethernet, RS232 and DH485 communication ports. Rated input power to the device is 100 to 240VAC with nominal supply value of 220VAC and frequency of 60Hz. The integrated memory of the HMI hardware is 128 MB Integrated Flash and 128 Random Access Memory.

PanelView Plus 700 up to PanelView Plus 1500 are the PanelView Plus lines that allow installation of additional components. As this operator terminal product family is declared discontinued, the add-on items as well are discontinued. Recommended platform for migration are PanelView Plus 6 terminals or PanelView Plus 7 operator terminals. All these platform still use FactoryTalk View Studio for Machine Edition Software of FactoryTalk View Site Edition Studio. For cost effectiveness, use Machine Edition Version. Site Edition is designed to cover not only operator terminals but Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) as well.

Communication to process controllers and Intelligent Electronic Devices (IED) is made via the embedded Ethernet port that is ideal for a remote HMI installation or The DH485 port supports communication in daisy topology, ideal for legacy devices and controllers. The RS232 port is ideal for local communication interface, typically within the panel communication. The integrated USB port is designed for external peripherals such as a keyboard and mouse for additional input area and USB hub.VIIIVThe 2711P-T10C4D2 is a PanelView Plus 1000 Terminal from Allen-Bradley.
