This Panelview Plus Terminal has a 10 in Display with Touchscreen Input with standard communication option of RS 232, Ethernet, and USB Ports. This unit also has a DH+/DH-485 communication module. This unit comes with a Logic module that has 64 MB flash/64 MB RAM and AC power.

 Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T10C6A1 is Touch operated terminal with 10.4-inch graphic display and integrated Random-Access Memory of 64 MB and Flash Memory or 32 MB. This electronic hardware also features a 10.4.-inch colored display area with allowable power supply input range 18 to 30 VDC.

The primary purpose of an HMI is to provide a real-time and intuitive interaction between the operator and process, or machine being operated. Real-time interaction is achieved with the updated graphic display made possible by the visualization component and the active data exchange happening through the embedded communication ports.

These communication ports can function individually and simultaneously. Any compatible protocol as long as supported by the terminal may be used to request and send data without conflict. These communication ports are Data Highway Plus (DH+), Remote I/O (RIO), DH485 and RS232. These are specifically selected to bridge the legacy hardware through DH485 and modern devices with Ethernet communication as well as implement the classic reliable RS232 communication. It also uses a USB port to allows external peripherals to become a part of the HMI devices. Some of these peripherals include printers, USB, mouse and USB drives.

This device requires an industrially approved mounting with the use of NEMA or IP rated panels. Appropriate branch protection circuit of fuses is recommended for installation to allows individual power line and simpler maintenance procedure. Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) may also be used to allow the HMI to shutdown properly or stop the process normally in the event or power outages.
