 Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T15C4D8 is a 24VDC powered PanelView Plus 6 terminal. It is used to implement Human Machine Interface (HMI) solution in the factory floor area of a plant.

This HMI device is approved for Class I, Div 2, Groups A, B, C and D, Class II, Div 2 Groups F and G and Class III Hazardous Locations Enclosure type ratings per UL50. It is installed to a NEMA/UL Type 12, 13, 4X (indoor use only), and IEC IP54, IP65 rated enclosures. When installing the terminal, create a panel cutout with dimension of 154 (6.08) H x 220 (8.67) W. Maintain a clearance of 51 mm (2 in.) Top, 102 mm (4 in.) Bottom, 25 mm (1 in.) Side and 0 mm (0 in.) back clearances to allow adequate air flow, installation and troubleshooting workspace. Operating temperature of 0…55 °C (32…131 °F) must be maintained within the panel as the HMI device has a thermal dissipation rating of 240 BTU /hr.

The 2711P-T15C4D8 features the largest screen size with a diagonal measurement of 15.0 inches, and resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels in 18-bit color graphics. This screen is ideal for designing a process mimic designed with actual image of graphic representation rather than text displays. Always apply consideration when dealing with imported images particularly bitmap as it may slow down screen navigation. The screen has an adjustable brightness or can be fitted with an anti-glare overlay.

Operator control and manipulation is achieved through the 8-wire analog resistive component touchscreen component. This input interface is capable of 1 million actuations.

This HMI terminal features a basic version of Windows CE software which include FTP server, VNC client/server PDF reader, Active X controls and Third-party device support capabilities.VIIIVThe 2711P-T15C4D8 is a PanelView Plus 6 Terminal from Allen-Bradley.
