 Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T6C5D is a PanelView Plus Operator terminal used for Human Machine Interface (HMI) application. It helps improve process or machine control by providing real-time and accurate data collected from controllers and partner devices in the machine level area.

Human Machine interface also contributes in lowering and improving startup and shutdown time by allowing the process to be controlled in a single common location. It also prevents downtime for both process or machine and Humans as it may prevent an individual from frequently accessing hazardous areas of a plant.

The 2711P-T6C5D is ideal for small automation application. It features a color active matrix TFT screen that may be used with color coded status and feedback reporting. Standard colors such as Red, Yellow or Green or plant specific nomenclature such as material, pipe, area, or process code. Operator interacts to the process using the analog resistive touch interface. It is capable of being actuate up to 1 million presses.
This HMI terminal is powered by a Direct Current (DC) source with rated supply range is 18-32 VDC with a nominal supply of 24VDC. The unit’s maximum power consumption is 25 Watts maximum (1.0 A at 24V dc).

The terminal’s application is configured using RSView Machine edition. This software is the common development software for the PanelView Plus terminals. It has a wide database of standard and custom images, templates, objects, symbols as well as basic object. It has commands similar to Windows application while some are operator terminal specific.
