Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T6M3D is a PanelView Plus Operator terminal used to implement Human Machine Interface (HMI) solution in the factory floor area of different industries. The PanelView Plus terminal is the successor for the discontinued PanelView Standard Operator Terminal.
This HMI hardware has a monochrome, monochrome screen, touch operator input and integrated support for DH485 for a multi drop DH485 connection, RS232 supporting DF1 or point-to-point DH485 protocol, Ethernet for modern connectivity and USB interface.
This HMI terminal is approved for operation in Class I, Div 2, Group A, B, C, D, Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC (2), Class II, Div 2 Groups F, G and Class III Hazardous Locations. It is typically panel mounted in an enclosure with ratings for NEMA, UL and IP. It carries certifications such as c-UL-us, CE (EMC), CE (LVD), C-Tick and Marine.
PanelView Plus terminal have 10MB application flash memory with support for installation of an External CompactFlash card that supports up to 512MB of memory. Application back-ups can be stored in this memory file as well as user manuals, data logs, reports and other relevant files.
The terminal runs a custom designed application that is designed with a user-friendly interface. This application is developed with RSView Machine Edition software. This is a separately purchased license that serves as the common development software for PanelView Plus terminals.
Through the built-in 5.5-inch screen with a display area of 112 x 84 mm (4.4 x 3.3 in.) and resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, process monitoring is accomplished, and analysis can be effectively performed. Operator is able to control and manipulate the controlled system through the Touch interface that is made of analog resistive touchscreen capable of up to 1 million actuations.
This HMI terminal is powered by a Direct Current (DC) source with rated supply range is 18-32 VDC with a nominal supply of 24VDC. The units maximum power consumption is 25 Watts maximum (1.0 A at 24V dc).
The 2711P-T6M3D supports installation of an additional CompactFlash storage that ranges up to 512 Mb.
