 Product Overview

The PanelView Plus 6 Operator Terminal with part number 2711P-T6M5D8 belong to the PanelView Plus 600 sub-category. It has a monochrome display, with embedded RS232 and USB communication port.

It has an embedded Windows CE operating system that supports an FTP server, VNC client/server PDF reader, Active X controls and Third-party device. Windows CE enables a user-friendly environment for easier configuration of parameters such as node address, transmission speed and protocol support. It also brings standard tools such as command prompt, control panel, file explorer and standard commands windows commands.

This operator terminal has an FactoryTalk View Machine Edition runtime embedded with the terminal. It does not require a license to be operated. Custom designed HMI applications are made with FactoryTalk View Machine Edition studio. This software is purchased separately.

It features a 5.7-inches monochrome graphic display and Touch operator input. The Grayscale TFT LCD has a display of 70 x 53 mm (2.8 x 2.3 in.) and resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The terminal is powered by a power supply of 18 to 32VDC with nominal supply of 24VDC.

The RS232 communication port is configurable for DF1 and DH485 protocol support. It also has an integrated USB host and device port that can be used for inserting and external storage medium or external peripherals such as keyboard or mouse.

This operator terminal has an internal system memory of 256 MB Random Access Memory (RAM) and 512 MB non-volatile memory with a free user memory of approximately 73MB.
