Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T7C4A9 is a PanelView Plus 6 operator terminal that is used as Human Machin Interface (HMI) device. This automation component integrate and consolidate binary and analog process data simultaneously to be arranged in group and detailed display to serve as operators reference for making appropriate control action.
This product specifically belongs to the subset product family of PanelView Plus 700 category. PanelView 700 features a 6.5-inch colored graphic screen.
The designed operator input for this device is an analog resistive touchscreen that is capable of operating up to 1 million actuations. Ideally, operate this input mechanism with a gloved finger or stylus and avoid actuating force of more than 110g. It the touchscreens sensitivity or triggered location is different from the pressed area, it may be calibrated in the configuration mode menu.
The 2711P-T7C4A9 has an Ethernet, DH485 and RS232 industrial communication port. DH485 is ideal for legacy communication while the Ethernet interface is ideal for more modern devices. Both are capable of communication over long distances and multi-partner data exchange. The RS232 ports has a limited range and used for peer-to-peer communication only. The dual USB ports are intended for external storage, external peripherals and printing function.
This HMI supports an extended Windows CE software. Extended feature includes support for Internet Explorer web browser Remote desktop connection, Media player, Microsoft file viewers for PowerPoint, Excel, Word and WordPad editor.
This HMI device is downloaded with an application developed in FactoryTalk View Studio for Machine Edition. When loaded with an application, the terminal executes the project using the integrated runtime environment, FactoryTalk View machine Edition Runtime.
