Product Overview
The IC754VSI12CTD is a GE QuickPanel that is used to provide operator interface in the machine level area. This operator terminal is more commonly known as Human Machine Interface (HMI) that enables real-time interaction between the operator and machine or process.
This operator terminal has a visualization screen that measures 12. Operator monitoring function is done with the use of this component while the touchscreen interface is used by the operator to input the command and manipulations needed to control the system.
This operator terminal can read and write data via the Ethernet and Serial communication ports.
Ethernet is a user-friendly protocol that uses a simple Cat5 or Cat6 cable with RJ45 connector on both ends. The serial communication port is a 5-Pin 1 x RS232 UART port. The USB Host port consists of Two (2) USB 2.0 ports. The USB device port is a mini type-B USB interface.
This QuickPanels power requirement is 24VDC supply that is terminated with the provided Phoenix Contact 3-pin connector. It has a Microprocessor installed which is an i.MX535 (1GHz ARM Cortex A8) along memory modules that features DDR2 SDRAM that amount to 512MB, SLC NAND 256MB and 512 KB with Battery backup.
This device has an embedded Window Compact Embedded (CE) Software Version 7.0 This Windows operating system resides in the flash memory which is then replicated to a DRAM block to initiate runtime and execution.
