Product Overview
The 1769-PB4 is a Compact I/O DC power supply that is capable of providing power in both directions of the CompactLogix Bus rated 4.0A at 5VDC and 2A at 24VDC. This power supply module requires a DC input power range of 19.2 to 32V DC for operation.
The power supply component may be installed on a DIN rail with size 35 x 7.5 mm (EN 50 022 - 35 x 7.5) or 35 x 15 mm (EN 50 022 - 35 x 15) or directly to an enclosure mounting plate. Do not install or uninstall the module under power. This may render each Compact I/O module unresponsive and cause error to the controller. Ensure locking mechanism is securely connected to the adjacent module to avoid electric arcs that may damage the module. The power supply generated more heat than the other module in the system. Allow 50 mm or 2-inch clearance on all sides of the Power supply module for proper air ventilation.

Recommended wire size for the module is 14 AWG (2.5 mm2) solid copper wire rated at 90 °C (194 °F) or greater, 1.2 mm (3/64 in.) insulation max. The module carries c-UL-us, CE and C-Tick certifications.
