Product Overview
The 2711-K3A10L1 hardware connects operator commands to the process or machine equipment through a designated input area. It serves as window to the process by providing a miniature representation of the process displayed in the 3-inch monochrome screen. Command are sent and data is received through the communication highway.
This electronic hardware is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) which belongs to the PanelView Standard Operator Terminal. The 2711-K3A10L1 belong to the subset product line of PanelView 300.
HMI solution is implemented to aid in improving control efficiency by enabling a faster response time by the operator. The 3-inch monochrome screen with display area of 73 x 42 mm (2.87 x 1.67 in.) and resolution of provides consolidated view of the process or machine state and data. System is analyzed and operator responds by pressing the buttons in the embedded keypad. The keypad is made of Eight (8) Function keys from F1 to F8, numeric input, navigation, cancel and enter buttons. The keypad can be operated up to 1 million actuations.
This terminal send and receive process data using the DeviceNet communication port. DeviceNet support device level communication using server explicit, I/O explicit, listen only and messaging modes. This terminal also support alarm documentation by configuration of RS232 communication port to print alarm lists and messages. This HMI terminal is powered by a DC supply with input range of 18 to 32V dc, (24V dc nominal).
The 2711-K3A10L1 has an integrated memory of 170KB for application memory and 240KB for non-volatile memory.
