Product Overview
The 2711-M3A18L1 is an electronic hardware primarily used to interface process and machine with plant operators through a graphical user interface developed with PanelBuilder32 software.
The Panelbuilder32 is the software package that is used to create applications being executed by the terminal. The Panelbuilder32 has library components such as symbols, images, drawing tools and other components that enables the user to design an effective user interface to be used by the operator to control the devices and equipment that make up the entire process.
The 2711-M3A18L1 is a PanelView Standard Operator Terminal that belongs to the subset product line PanelView Micro Terminal. This terminal is typically installed in the factory floor where the operators may easily access and perform control. The unit is energized with an external power supply rated 24VDC.
This HMI device is ideal for use in small machines or processes where simple visualization screen is required. Operators are provided with a 3-inch visualization screen having a resolution of 128 x 64 pixels and display area of 73 x 42 mm (2.87 x 1.67 in.). The embedded keypad is allocated to function as the operator input area. This embedded keypad has Four (4) function keys that can be assigned with a variety of functions. PanelView micro operator terminals include a pre-installed 8-pin mini DIN RS-232 port which supports either DF1 or point-to-point DH485 protocol. The terminals internal memory allocation of 170 KB is intended for application runtime and 240KB non-volatile memory.
