The 1305-BA03A-DE is an adjustable frequency drive that offers maximum performance in a compact package. This drive is compatible for use in industry such as Transportation, Consumer, Metals, Petrochemical and Mining, Pulp and Paper and many other applications.
The 1305 product family are discontinued product line thus, the 1305-B303A-DE is available as spare-part only.
This drive supports various communication protocols for implementing integrated architecture. This drive may be coupled with a Remote I/O, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Serial, Scanport and other protocols. This allows control and access to parameters via communication instead of wiring I/O devices. Using this, VFD parameters may be sent over network enabling dynamic parameterization.
Conventional integration of the drive may also be implemented using the integrated I/O installed in terminal TB2 of the drive. I/Os include Eight (8) Discrete Input, Two (2) Discrete Outputs, Two (2) Analog Inputs and One (1) Analog Output.
Breaking down the part number, it depicts that this drive may be used in 3-Phase input Voltage range of 380-460VAC with Frequency of 50-60Hz, output current of 2.3 A and motor rating 0.75kW (1.0 HP). This drive support language switching with English as default language. Switchable language include German language.
Drive parameters may be configured even without the actual hardware. This can be accomplished using the software packages such as DriveExplorer and DriveTools32. These software packages are compatible with legacy Windows Operating system such as Windows 95, 98, NT and CE. As these are legacy software, it is ideal to use virtual machines to continue to run these software packages. VIIIVThe 1305-BA03A-DE is a legacy product from the Allen-Bradley that is used to modulate the speed of an AC induction motor. By implementing speed control to a motor, it allows the equipment to be used in processes where higher control accuracy is required or more complex control system is being served.
Motors in some case are the Final Control Elements (FCE) or actuator to move a mechanical assembly. Motor as an FCE are typically found in water systems such as pump while motor functioning as actuating are typically used with Fans, Dampers, Louvers, Valves and other devices. By modulation of speed, more control points are introduced as speed control is not limited to merely speed control, but it enables the motor to be operated and maintained at any speed within its RPM range.
This drive supports integrated architecture with the use of various communication protocols to connect to existing Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). To enable this feature, the drive must be equipped with communication adapter to make it compatible to existing partner device. With tis established, the PLC may send parameters or profile sets to the drive via this communication highway without the need of a local configuration. This make the motor to operate in with dynamic parameters that changes according to the plant status or mode of operation. Supported protocols include Remote I/O, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Serial, Scanport and other protocols.
