 Product Overview

The 1305-BA09A-HAP is a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) manufactured by Allen-Bradley for the bulletin 1305 Adjustable AC Drives. This product features 3-Phase input Voltage range of 380-460VAC with Frequency of 50-50Hz. The drive’s output current is 9.0 A and motor rating 4.0 kW (5.0 HP). It is capable of High Torque output, Fast acceleration, Hybrid current limit, IR compensation and slip compensation.

This drive features an integrated Human Interface Module (HIM). This component is used to configure the VFD out of the box to access drive parameters for custom configuration. This HIM is a programmer HIM only. It may be replaced with an included potentiometer or digital up and down keys.

Alternative to the HIM, this drive may be configured using the DriveExplorer or DriveTools32 software. These software packages allow online and offline drive parameterization. It is a Windows application that is compatible with Windows 95, 98 and NT operating systems.

This drive has physical dimensions of 210 (W) x 195 (H) x 179 (D) and approximately weighs 4.2 kilograms. It may be operated within a temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees C and Vibration limit of 1.0 G. This drive uses natural convection as its cooling method however, plant specific conditions must always be taken into consideration.

Embedded I/O includes Eight (8) Contact Closure inputs, Two (2) Analog Inputs compatible for 4 to 20 mA and 0-10VDC individually used for speed reference, Two (2) Discrete outputs with output having a Resistive rating of 115 V AC/30 VDC, 5A and Inductive Rating of 115 VAC/30 VDC, 2A. The other output is rated for 24VDC in sinking wiring configuration. It also has an analog output that capable of 0-10VDC to act as VFD feedback, typically used for PID controlled systems.
