 Product Overview

The 20AD014C3AYNANC0 is a PowerFlex 70 Adjustable Frequency AC Drive that is used for implementing motor control such as speed control, Start / Stop, Local / Remote, Auto / Manual, Jog, Forward/Reverse and advanced functions such as speed ramp-up, acceleration and deceleration and many other configurable functions.

Compared to hardwired control systems, advanced functions are only implemented with the use of this PowerFlex drive. It also eliminates complex wiring and saves important panel space.

This drive has an output Power Rating of 7.5 kW (10.0 HP) output current of 14.0 amperes, output voltage of 0 to 460VAC and frequency of 0 to 500 Hz. Applicable Input Voltage for this drive is 480VAC, 3-Phase. Included with this drive is an Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) brake. This drive belongs to the filtered emission class.

This PowerFlex drive is intended for Flange mounting. Though this drive has built-in internal protection, external protection is recommended to protect the drive from external power disturbances such as noises and surges. External protection devices include line reactors, isolation transformers, fuse and contactors for branch circuit protection.

Do not Start and Stop this drive by repeatedly energizing and de-energizing the power contactor. This may cause damage to the drive. Instead of this practice, provide start and stop signal by triggering the appropriate signal. In some cases, especially if the drive will be idle for a very short period of time, setting the frequency to Zero (0) Hz will technically stop the motor.

This drive may be configured with the use of Studio 5000 Logix Designer, Connected Components Workbench (CCW) and DriveTools Sp software.
