The 20AD022A0AYNANC0 is a PowerFlex 70 adjustable Frequency drives. This product is intended for implementing speed control of AC motors by varying the output frequency locally or remotely.
This drive is designed for an input voltage rating of 480VAC, 3-phase, It provides an output Current of 22.0 A and Power of 11.0 kW (15.0 HP). This drive has a Frequency output range of 0 to 500 Hz.
Installation must be done inside an IP20 / NEMA UL Type Open enclosure. Motor to drive ration must be minimum of 1:2 ratio while maximum is 2:1 ratio. This drive features Frequency control - speed regulation with slip compensation in V/Hz mode and Sensorless Vector mode. It may also be configured for Speed control - speed regulation with and without feedback.
Aside from speed control, this drive is capable of implementing basic motor controls such as Starting, Stopping and Jog operations, Remote and Local and Automatic and Manual control modes. It can also implement Forward and Reverse rotation without the need to physically interchange the motor leads instead, this is done electronically defined by the configuration.
Modulating actuation is popular to process loops where better accuracy and control efficiency is needed. Pressure, Level, Flow and Temperature processes are common processes where modulation is needed as they are better controlled using a dynamically defined setpoint. Water and Waste Systems are also one of the common process areas where a modulating VFD is largely used particularly in caustic and acid injection, flow and level control.
