 Product Overview

The 20AD034C3AYNANC0 is a PowerFlex 70 Adjustable Frequency AC that is designed for indoor use only. This drive is intended for Wall mounting or Machine Mounting to an IP66, NEMA/UL Type 4X/12 rated enclosure.

To enable the drive operation, it must be supplied with a 3-Phase input voltage with nominal value of 480VAC. The drive is capable of producing Current of 34.0 A and Power of 18.5 kW or 25.0 HP. An IGBT brake component is also installed as part of the base configuration.

For local configuration of the drive, Human Interface Module (HIM) with a numeric Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) may be used to set the drive operational parameters. Aside from local configuration, this HIM component is used to operate the drive and view error codes should the drive enter fault condition. This HIM is designed with a display that shows 7 lines of readout with 21 characters each line. It has fixed keys for Starting / Stopping the drive as well as initiating Jog, Forward and Reverse rotation control. There are also keys that may be used to Increase and Decrease the frequency which directly affects the motor speed of rotation. Other keys include Menu, Enter and Cancel buttons which is mainly used during configuration. The location of this component is in the front panel of the drive for quick and easy access.

There other ways to configure this PowerFlex 70 product aside from the integrated HIM. One of the options include the use of DriveTools SP and Connected Components Workbench (CCW). While advanced configuration can be made with Studio 5000 Logix Designer implementing Premiere integration.
