The Allen-Bradley Adjustable Frequency AC drive with part number 20AD065A0AYNANC0 is a belongs to the PowerFlex 70 product family. This drive is primarily used for speed control with wide a variety of integration options. The drives input voltage rating is 480VAC, 3-phase, output power rating of 37.0 kW (50.0 HP) and output current of 65.0 amperes.
The drives control method is via Sine coded PWM with programmable carrier frequency. Programmable carrier frequency options are 2, 4, 8, and 12 kHz as this is an enhanced drive. It is capable of Sensorless Vector Control and Vector Control with FORCE technology.
This drive has embedded I/O of Six (6) Discrete Inputs for operation with 24VDC Only, One (1) Form C Contacts for Discrete Output, Two (2) Analog Input that accepts 0-10VDC or 4-20mA signals with each channels selectable, Two (2) Analog Output that is able to transmit 0-10VDC or 4-20mA.
Utilize the embedded I/O for controlling the VFD rather than the Human Interface Module (HIM). The embedded I/O are located in the control terminal block and requires hardwired connections to electrical components or signal producing modules or devices such as a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or any stand-alone and 3rd party controllers. For Discrete modules, this drive may be configured to use the internal power supply of external power supply.
The drive supports Potentiometer as unipolar speed reference, Joystick bipolar speed reference, Analog Input bipolar and unipolar speed references.
