Product Overview
The 20AD3P4A0AYNNNC0 is an adjustable frequency AC drive from the PowerFlex 70 product line. This product is designed for speed control of an AC motor as well as performing basic motor control requirement. This product has a very wide range of application, from fans to high-powered extruder applications.
With the use of this equipment, AC motors are treated similarly and operated like a Direct Online (DOL) motor however, new features are introduced aside from the primary speed control, advanced function such as sensorless vector control, Proportional + Integral (P+I) control, Vector control with Force technology and other advanced functions are enabled.
Install this drive to an IP20 / NEMA UL Type Open enclosure. Motor to drive ratio must be minimum of 1:2 ratio while maximum is 2:1 ratio. This drive is designed for 480VAC, 3-phase with output power of .5 kW (2.0 HP) and output current of 3.4 A.
This drive has embedded Six (6) Discrete Inputs, One (1) Form C Contacts, Two (2) Analog Input that accepts 0-10VDC 4-20mA signal types and Two (2) Analog output that transmits 0-10VDC and 0-20mA signal.
Required operating temperature is 0 to 50 °C or 32 to 122 °F. This drive has a cooling fan installed that run when the drive is running thus, this is not a continuous cooling fan. If installed near high temperature process, consider installing a cooling system that runs continuously even if the drive is non-operational. Top and bottom installation clearance of 76.2 mm or 3.0 is required to allow adequate air flow which aids in cooling maintaining ambient air temperature. Additionally, the enclosure must be installed on a stable surface or with shock and vibration protection to maintain operating shock not to exceed 15 g peak for 11 ms duration (±1.0 ms) and vibration rating not more than 0.152 mm (0.006 in.) displacement, 1 g peak.VIIIVThe 20AD3P4A0AYNNNC0 is a PowerFlex 70 adjustable frequency AC drive.
