The 20BD027A0AYNAND0 is an adjustable frequency AC drive from Allen-Bradley. This electronic hardware is designed for an input voltage of 3-Phase, 480VAC. It is capable of providing an output of 27.0 amperes and output power of 20.0 Horsepower. This drive is configured with Vector control feature including the integrated I/Os. This hardware has an integrated IGBT brake with filtered emission.
Adjustable Frequency AC drives such as this PowerFlex product offers cost-effective solution to motor control requirement as does allows a programmable motor control through a variety of options. It also features advanced functions that a conventional wiring is not capable of implementing.
This drive supports communication to control systems via a data highway or using conventional wiring method.
With conventional wiring, the embedded Input and Output signal interfaces are utilized by hardwiring signaling and indicating devices. There are Six (6) 115VAC Discrete Inputs, Two (2) Form C Contacts for Discrete Output, Two (2) Analog Input that accepts 0-10VDC or 4-20mA signals, Two (2) Analog Output that is able to transmit 0-10VDC or 4-20mA. Each of this this are configurable to a specific drive parameter.
Compatible signaling devices are pushbuttons, joystick, potentiometers, lamps, indicators, recorders and other electrical components. These are typically mounted on a control panel. Another way is to use a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) instead of electrical devices. With PLC, the input and output modules of the PLC replace the signaling devices.
Modern systems use Premiere integration designed by Allen-Bradley. This is exclusive only to CompactLogix and ControLogix controllers that uses RSLogix5000 or Studio 5000 Logix designer. With premier integration, the drive is operated by means of parameters being sent over the communication highway to directly change the drives settings. It directly modifies the registers.
