The20BD077A3ANNAND0 is a PowerFlex 700 Adjustable Frequency AC drive. This automation components primary intended function is to implement speed control of AC motors. With speed control, the motor is capable of being used in closed loop and more complex control systems especially in processed where modulating control is necessary. This drive is designed for operation with an input voltage supply of 480VAC, 3-Phase and output power of 77.0 amperes and 60.0 HP.
As Final Control Elements (FCE) of a closed loop system, drives perform the modulating action commanded by loop controllers that is normally implemented with Proportional + Integral + Derivative (PID) control modes. However, this adjustable frequency AC drive is also equipped with Proportional + Integral (P+I) control which enables the drive to become a controller and Final Control Element at the same time. P+I algorithm may be applied in most loops especially fast and medium processes such as Flow, Pressure and Level.
This hardware is also capable of Vector Control that makes it especially compatible in processes that requires operation with different parameters sets and torque control. Applications such as extruders, Continuous Vacuum Pans or Conveyors used for handling bulk solids such as coal handling systems and Cement.
The Human Interface Module (HIM) mounted on the front panel of the drive provides a way to configure and operate the drive locally. It is also used to clear fault and alarms.
