The 20BD096A0ANNANC0 is a PowerFlex 700 Adjustable Frequency AC Drive that is used to implement basic and advanced motor control. This drive supports Three (3) main modes of control such as Voltz / Hertz control, Sensorless Vector Control and Vector Control with Force technology from Allen-Bradley.
Adjustable Frequency AC Drive is Allen-Bradleys term for the PowerFlex 700 products, describing the primary function of varying the frequency to modify the output speed however, this product is sometimes called differently by other personnel. It may be called as Variable Speed Drive (VSD), describing that speed is variable which is caused by the modification of the output frequency of the PowerFlex 700. It other terms, this product is also mentioned in the plant as Variable Frequency Drive (VFD).
With a provided 3-Phase input voltage of 480VAC, this product is energized and electronic circuitry is enabled which allows the hardware to produce an 3-Phase voltage output of 0-480VAC along with a rated current of 96.0 Amperes and power of 75.0 Horsepower. This drives is designed with an internal Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) brake for dynamic breaking purpose.
Enclosures which offers protection from solid object greater than 50 mm in size and protection against vertical drop of water is the recommended protection level required to be used with this device. This is achieved with the use of an IP20 or NEMA/UL Type 1 enclosure. These enclosure ratings only allow a maximum of 15 degree tilting with vertical reference.
