Product Overview
The 20BD027A2AYNANB0 is a PowerFlex 700 is Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) that belongs to the PowerFlex 700 product line. This drive, through the output current of 3.4 A and output power of 2.0 HP enables a motor to be driven with speed control feature. Applicable input voltage for this drive is 3-Phase, 480VAC. It has an integral IGBT break and emission filtering.
The default configuration of this specific PowerFlex 700 drive includes Six (6) Discrete Inputs, Two (2) Discrete Output, Two (2) Analog Input and Two (2) Analog Outputs. These inputs may be used to integrate the drive to remote control systems or local control stations installed in the field. These I/Os also allows seamless transfer of control mode from Local to Remote and Automatic to Manual, vice versa.
This drive is capable of standard control or Volts /Hertz operation or more popularly known as scalar control. Scalar control features excellent speed control and compatible with most applications especially processes where the VFD is operated with parameters or configurations that are seldom changed.
Supported communication protocols by this drive are Remote I/O, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Serial, Profibus, Ethernet. Each has specific advantages and communication distance coverage. Communication protocols are provided to allow the access to drives parameters and establish remote control. Back-up operation method must be considered aside from communication network to maintain drive operability even if the communication network is down.
An optional Human Interface Module may be added to this drive for out of the box configuration. It also allows local operation to be carried via the embedded control buttons.
