The 20BD5P0A0AYNANA0 is a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) or sometimes referred to as Variable Speed Drive (VSD) is used to implement control of an AC motor with primary focus on Speed control.
This PowerFlex 700 drive is engineered to produce an output current of 5.0 A and power of 3.0 horsepower. The supply voltage must be a 480VAC voltage, 3-Phase. Wire recommendations for input and motor connections includes size range of 0.5 mm sq. or 22 AWG to 4.0 mm sq. or 12 AWG with recommended torque of 0.8 Nm or 7 lb/in with maximum torque of 1.7 Nm or 15 lb./in. Recommended filter for this drive is a Deltron filter with part number MIF316.
For Auxiliary control voltage, minimum recommended wire size is 0.2 mm2 or 24 AWG with maximum 1.5 mm2 or 16 AWG.
AC line input is terminated to the R (L1), S (L2) and T (L3). This drive may also be operated for single phase however, output capabilities are reduced to 50%. If used for Single Phase, use only R and S terminals. For Three phase, use all R, S, and T terminals. Motor connection is made by terminating wires with size of 0.5 mm sq. or 22 AWG to 4.0 mm sq. or 12 AWG to the terminals U (L1), V (L2) and W (T3).
This drive has an I/O terminal block that houses the embedded I/O. There are Six (6) 24VAC / VDC Discrete Inputs, Two (2) Discrete Output, Four (4) Analog Input and Four (4) Analog Output.
