 Product Overview

The 22C-D010N103 is a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It belongs to the PowerFlex 400 Adjustable Frequency AC drive designed specifically for fan and pump applications which can be found in almost any industry. Some applications may be found in HVAC and cooling systems while Pump applications are typically installed in Water and Wastewater systems.

To provide the drive’s designed Output capabilities of 0-460VAC, Current of 10.5 A and Power of 4.0 kW (5.0 HP), the required input power the drive must be a 3-Phase Voltage ranging from 380-480VAC.

Configuration options are available for this drive. The primary configuration option for this drive is with the use of the installed Human Interface Module (HIM) or generally referred to as the VFD keypad. The drive’s keypad is capable of accessing the drive parameters including the most common ones such as the Discrete Input, Discrete Output, Analog Input and Analog Output definition and assignments. Another way to configure this drive is with the use of configuration software packages made by Allen-Bradley. These configuration software packages are DriveExplorer and DriveTools Sp software. However, DriveExplorer is a legacy software compatible with Windows 95, 98, 2000 and NT operating systems. The DriveTools SP software is compatible up to Windows 7 operating system. Alternative way to configure this drive is through the included communication protocol such as the embedded RS485, Metasys and Flor Level Network. With the use of communication protocol, parameters may be written and read over the data highway established with the connection to the drive.
