Product Overview
The 2711-B5A10L1 is a PanelView Standard Operator Terminal that is utilized to implement a centralized monitoring and control in the machine level are of a particular plant or industry. Aside from centralized control, this electronic hardware also enables automated alarm handling and notification, real-time tag trending, data logging and operation security.
The 2711-B5A10L1 belongs to the subset category of PanelView 550 that features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 128 x 64 pixels, Key and Touch operation and DeviceNet and RS232 communication port.
The keypad component has Ten (10) function keys. These function keys accepts variable assignment that is typically referenced with the active screen. The Touch interface is enabled through the touch membrane embedded along the display screen. The keypad is recommended to be operated with a finger or gloved finger to maximize the ideal operation lifespan. Similarly, the touch screen is ideally operated with a pointer or stylus with a minimum tip radius of 1 mm (0.040 in). Both operator input components are designed for 1 million operation.
The 2711-B5A10L1 operator terminal is supplied with an input range of 18 to 32 VDC, with a nominal supply of 24VDC. The terminal has integral electronic protection however, external protection may be installed such as circuit breakers, fuse, surge protection device may be used to prevent damage to the terminal.
The HMI terminals process visualization is made of a Monochrome LCD blue mode display with a backlight life of 100,000 hr. The 2711-B5A10L1 supports alarm management, screen security, analog gauges, ATA memory card, and online printing.
This PanelView 550 terminal is configured using PanelBuilder32 software. PanelBuilder32 is used to create process graphics, alarm handling functions, alarm printer setup, trend parameters and other equally important functions.
