Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A5L1 is a legacy product of Allen Bradley that acts as operator control station in the factory floor. This operator terminal is industrially designed and approved for use in a wide variety of applications and different industries such as Mining, Manufacturing, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas, Marine, Food and Beverage and many other industries.
This rugged electronic hardware is typically flush mounted on a NEMA rated enclosure or any equivalent panel that offers protection to the electronic circuitry of the device. This HMI hardware can be operated in an environment that maintains operating temperature of 0 and 55 degrees Celsius (32 and 131 degrees Fahrenheit) and operating vibration rating of 2 g up to 2000 Hz.
The operator terminals electronic circuitry and components is designed for a supply voltage of 18 to 32 Volts DC and power consumption of 18 Watts.
The 2711-T5A5L1 operator terminal is fitted with a 5.5-inch monochrome display with resolution of 256 x 128 pixels and display area of 120 x 60 mm (4.75 x 2.38 in.). Operations response and actions are initiated by means of the Touchscreen interface that is built with 128 touch cells.
The operator terminal is provided with an integrated runtime environment that do not require an activation. The development software, PanelBuilder32 software, is separately purchased and requires a license. The operator terminal is downloaded with the application created in the PanelBuilder32 and the application is executed in the runtime environment.
The PanelView terminal is equipped with a RS232 communication port supporting DH485 protocol port for process monitoring and control. A secondary RS232 port is may be configured for alarm printing functions.VIIIVThe 2711-T5A5L1 is a Touch operated Human Machine Interface (HMI) component made by Bradley for PanelView Standard Operator Terminals. This terminal is DC powered with a rated supply range of 18 to 32 VDC. It has 5-inch display with dual RS232 port, one supports DH485 protocol while the other RS232 supports printer communication.
