This Panelview Plus Terminal has a 15 in Display with Touchscreen/Keypad Input with standard communication option of RS 232, Ethernet, and USB Ports. This unit also has a DH+/DH-485 communication module. This unit comes with a Logic module that has 64 MB flash/64 MB RAM.

The 2711P-B15C6D1 is an electronic hardware that has a compact, scalable and rugged design. This device is compatible for use in different industrial applications and environments. It carries certification from CE, UL and C-Tick and approved for installation in Class I, Div 2 Group A, B, C, D; Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC; Class II, Div 2 Group F, G; Class III, Hazardous Locations and ordinary or non-hazardous locations.

This HMI has a physical dimension of 330 x 469 x 65 mm and weighs 4.6 kg or 10.0 lb. It has a battery that is utilized by the integrated real-time clock, with accuracy of +/-2 minutes per month, and Static RAM. This battery has a lifespan of 2 years minimum at 25 °C. This terminal also has a diagnostic LED lamps for indicating Communication state and Hardware Fault. The Application Flash memory is 5MB and maximum flash memory expansion is 512 MB.

The 2711P-B15C6B1 features of a 15.0-inch Colored Color Active Matrix Thin-Film Transistor
LCD screen, Keypad and Touch input mechanism rated for 1 million actuations, communication ports such as Ethernet, Data Highway Plus (DH+), Remote I/O (RIO), DH485 and RS232 communication ports. It also has an internal allocated memory of 32MB Flash Memory 64 MB Random-Access Memory (RAM). This HMI hardware is powered by voltage supply range of 85 to 264V AC with frequency of 47 to 63 Hz.

Process mimic and user interface is designed using FactoryTalk View Studio for Machine Edition. This software is the common development software of PanelView Plus terminals with an important feature of offline testing and debigging.
