The PanelView Plus operator terminal with part number 2711P-K10C15D1 is used to implement process visualization and control in the machine level area of a plant. It is used in a wide variety of applications in different industries.

This operator terminal is part of the sub-category PanelView Plus 1000 terminal. This category features a 10.4-inch colored graphic screen with resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and display area of 211 x 158 mm (8.31 x 6.2). It is operated by the embedded keypad assembly Thirty-Two (32) function keys, F1 to F16 and K1 to K16. These keys are programmable using the FactoryTalk View Studio for Machine Edition. Other keys include ALT, Enter, space, tab, CTRL, backspace, numeric, navigation and home shortcut keys.

It has an integrated Ethernet, ControlNet and RS232 communication port. That is primarily used for data exchange between automation controllers and devices. This operator terminal is powered by a voltage supply range of 85 to 240VAC with nominal supply of 220VAC. It also has an integrated memory of 32 MB Flash Memory and 64MB Random-Access Memory (RAM).

This HMI terminal has an integrated machine Edition runtime that is responsible for running the application downloaded to the terminal. Terminal runtime behavior and fine tuning may be defined through the configuration mode menu. Under the configuration mode menu, terminal settings such as diagnostic setup, display properties, file management, font linking, Networks and communication, Print setup, start-up options, system event log, system information and time/date/regional settings. For quick startup, typical parameters that are being modified are File Management, Network and communications, start-up options and time settings may be configured.
