This Panelview Plus Terminal has a 10 in Display with Keypad Input with standard communication option of RS 232, Ethernet, and USB Ports. This unit also has a DH+/DH-485 communication module. This unit comes with a Logic module that has 64 MB flash/64 MB RAM and AC power.

 Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-K10C6A1 is an electronic hardware that is used to provide graphical representation of process and operator control interface. This hardware belongs to the PanelView Plus Operator Terminal under the subset category of PanelView Plus 1000.

This HMI provides visualization through the embedded 10.4-inch screen with resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The screen has configurable parameters such as brightness and contrast that can be adjusted by accessing the display parameters in the configuration mode menu. It has an operator input area made of a keypad assembly consisting of F1 to F16, K1 to K16; 0 to 9, Backspace, Enter, Left and Right Tab, keys and Shift keys.

It has multiple communication ports that may be used to communication to legacy and modern controllers. Data Highway Plus (DH+), Remote I/O (RIO) and DH485 protocol support multi-device communication in long distances, minimum of 500 m. The RS232 ports is used for point-to-point communication and short distance s while the Ethernet communication port is ideal for modern controllers. It supports transmission speed of 10/100Mbps with auto-negotiation functionality.

Each of the communication ports functions independently and may be used for simultaneous communication as needed. DH+ and Remote I/O communication uses the terminal and communication cable thus, only one of these ports may be used at a time. Ethernet and DH485 have individual ports which means they can be used at the same time. RS232 through used for stand-alone communication may also work at the same time as the other communication ports polls data from different sources.
