 Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-K15C4B1 is a PanelView Plus terminal that is used to implement process visualization and control in the machine level area. It specifically falls under the subset category of PanelView Plus 1500. It features a color active matrix TFT screen with resolution of 1024 x 768 and display area of 304 x 228 mm (11.98 x 8.98).

This electronic hardware requires an input power supply of 85 to 264VAC with frequency of 47 to 63 Hz. It has a maximum power consumption of 120 VA.

The provided input interface is the keypad component that consists of F1 to F20, K1 to K20; 0…9, special characters, Backspace, Enter, Left and Right Tab, keys, Shift keys and Home Keys. When operating this HMI hardware, use gloved finger or stylus to protect the buttons from field contaminants such as dust, oil, water, paint and chemicals as these may damage the keypad. It has an expected lifespan of 1 million actuations.

Communication interface available and embedded to this terminal are Ethernet, DH485 and RS232 communication port. Ethernet and DH485 support multi-drop or multi-partner communication while RS232 is used for Peer-to-peer communication. When uploading and downloading applications, these communication ports may also be used.

For developing and editing applications, FactoryTalk View Studio for Machine Edition is used. This is a separately purchased software that is designed for offline development with test and debug feature. Use the configuration mode menu to set the terminal runtime behavior and to launch manually or automatically the Machin Edition runtime environment. The runtime environment does not require activation as this is pre0installed with the terminal. VIIIVThe 2711P-K15C4B1 is a PanelView Plus 1500 Terminal from Allen-Bradley.
