 Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-K7C4D2 is a 24VDC powered Human Machine Interface (HMI) device. This device is compatible for installation in industrial applications where AC motors are used as Final Control Elements or actuator to mechanical devices. Some areas of application include Water and Waste water, Mining, Power, Cement, Pulp and Paper, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical as well as other applications including Marine as PanelView Plus also come with a conformally coated device.

This product is manufactured by Rockwell Automation for the product catalog PanelView Plus Operator Terminal. It used to provide operator interface and process visualization in the factory floor to improve process operability, safety and efficiency.

This HMI features a 128 MB Flash Memory and Random-Access Memory (RAM). It is powered by an input supply range of 18 to 32 VDC with nominal supply of 24VDC. This device has a power consumption of 25 Watts (1.0 A at 24V dc).

The colored display screen measures 132 x 99 mm (5.20 x 3.90 in) with resolution 640 x 480 pixels. The Keypad consists of F1 to F10 and K1 to K10 keys, navigation and numeric keys. It is recommended to operate the input area with a glove to prevent built-up of contaminants such as paint, chemicals dust and other materials. This device communicates with process or machine controllers or Intelligent Electronic Devices (IED) via the integrated Ethernet, RS232 and DH485 communication port.

The 2711P-K7C4D2 also has USB interfaces for installation of additional peripherals such as USB and Keyboard to provide an optional operator input area.
