 Product Overview

The 1305-BA04A is an adjustable AC Drive that features 3-Phase input, Voltage rating of 380-460VAC with Frequency of 50-60Hz. It has a rated output current of 4.0 A and motor rating 1.5kW (2.0 HP).

Adjustable AC drives are sometimes referred as Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and Variable Speed Drives (VSD). All terms refer to the product that enables speed modulation control of a motor. This particular part number belongs to the Bulletin 1305 Adjustable AC Drive manufactured by Allen Bradley.

The 1305-BA04A is designed to for used in AC induction motors. This drive is capable of High Torque over wide speed range. It exhibits Fast Acceleration that may be further reduced or increased using the Accel and Deccel parameters.

Protection devices must be installed especially in the input line of a VFD. There are compatible Allen-Bradley components that may be used such as Input Line Reactors 1321-3R4-B for Open Style and 1321-3RA4-B for NEMA Type 1. Isolation Transformer with part number 1321-3T005-BB and Terminators with part number 1204-TFA1 or TFB2. 3rd party equivalents may also be installed.

For conventional integration to existing control systems, embedded I/Os are provided. These I/Os allow the VFD to be controlled local or remote. This includes starting or stopping and increasing or decreasing the motor speed. These I/Os consist of Eight (8) Discrete Input, Two (2) Discrete Outputs, Two (2) Analog Inputs and One (1) Analog Output.

DriveExplorer and DriveTools32 are compatible software packages that can be used for offline and online programming. When using these software packages, appropriate communication cable and a communication adapter is used to establish connection to the drive. VIIIVThe 1305-BA04A is an adjustable AC Drive with 3-Phase Voltage Input rated 380-460V, motor rating of 1.5 kW (2.0 HP) and output current of 4 A.
