Adjustable Frequency Drives of Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) may contribute to power savings, especially during start-up and shut-down sequence, motor protection as it has internal protection circuitry, Scalability as it may be used with a base function and later upgraded to meet increasing requirements.

This drive is designed for operation in 3-Phase input Voltage range of 380-460VAC with Frequency of 50-60Hz. It has an output current of 9.0 A and motor rating 4.0 kW (9.0 HP). This drive support language switching with English as default language. Switchable language includes Spanish language.

Conventional integration of the drive may also be implemented using the integrated I/O installed in terminal TB2 of the drive. I/Os include Eight (8) Discrete Input, Two (2) Discrete Outputs, Two (2) Analog Inputs and One (1) Analog Output.

The discrete input channels may be allocated for Start / Stop / Jog, Forward / Reverse, Local / Remote, Auto / Manual signals. These are Read and Writable parameters. These signals require configuration of the VFD to correctly assign the discrete input channels. Discrete output may be assigned as the VFD’s Run / Stop and Fault / Normal status feedback. These are readable parameters only. The analog input may be assigned as the VFD’s speed reference for speed command. These are Writable parameters. Lastly, the Analog output may be used as speed feedback to confirm if the actual speed command was implemented or connected to a data logger, indicator or 3rd party device to re-transmit the signal speed command. Most of the time, the speed command and the speed feedback does are not equal which is perfectly normal.
