Product Overview
The 1769-L35E is used with Allen Bradleys 1769 CompactLogix family. This processor has a built-in Two (2) RS232 and One (1) Ethernet communications port. The controller has an integrated memory of 1.5MB memory.
The 1769-L35E controller provides a cost effective solution as it provides communication flexibility and capable of handling complex programming task that can be utilized for general industry automation requirements and wide variety of processes.
The dual RS232 communication port operates independently with one built with signal isolation while the other one with non-isolated feature. Isolation provides barrier to ground loop current thus reducing distortion, maintaining a reliable connection.
The Ethernet communication port is a common industry communication protocol used both in the industry and enterprise networks. With this port embedded, the controller is capable of sending and receiving communication simultaneously from the factory floor and enterprise network.
The Allen Bradley CompactLogix 1769-L35E supports Thirty (30) Compact I/O installed as its local I/O modules. It may be expanded up to Three (3) I/O banks.
User programs executed by the CompactLogix processor is created with RSLogix5000 programming software. This programming software is an IEC-61131-3 compliant software that is capable of programming languages such as Ladder, Function Block, Statement List, Structured Text and Sequence Function Chart. Data files are accessible through the software via drag and drop or data file selection. The controller support tag-based and alias addressing.
The controllers mode can be changed using the key activated mode switch. The controller is the leftmost component in the chassis with a power supply distance rating of Four (4) modules. Only one controller can be used in a CompactLogix system.
