Product Overview
The PowerFlex 40 adjustable frequency drive with part number 22B-D024N104 features a 3-phase, 380 to 480 VAC input voltage rating, output Current of 24 Amperes and power of 11 Kilowatt or 15 Horsepower. This drive is suitable for panel mounting in an enclosure rated IP20 / NEMA UL Type Open.
This adjustable frequency drive allows any AC motor with the appropriate rating to be driven in modulating speed and torque control. It can be used for applications such as material transfer, bulk solids, dosing and other applications.
The drive supports is enabled with specific functions such as Sensorless Vector Control, Variable Pulse Wiidth Modulation (PWM), Integral PID, Timer, Counter, Basic Logic and Step-Logic functions. Timer and Counter function is activated through the programmable input Timer start and Counter start settings. Basic Logic is triggered by input set to Logic inputs and Step Logic is activated by defining logic-based steps with preset speed settings.
Aside from the mentioned settings, the drive may be integrated to existing control systems by utilizing the discrete inputs that support sink / source configuration, analog input with signal types of 0 to 10 VDC and 4 to 20 mA, analog output supporting the same signal types as the analog input and output channels that are opto-couplers and Form C contacts.
The drive may also be integrated to MODBUS capable controllers, Human Machine Interface (HMI) or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for direct integration and control of the drive. Additional communication adapters may be installed such as BACnet, LonWorks, DeviceNet, Profibus, Ethernet and some other component adapters. This enhances the drives capability to communicate to different industry standard protocols.
